If there's one thing we want North Bend families to know, it's this: the school bus is the safest way for students to get to and from school, and we're committed to keeping it that way.

At First Student, safety isn't just a policy. It's our number one core value. From loading and unloading procedures to vehicle maintenance and ongoing driver training, every route starts with safety.

Our drivers receive continuous training throughout the year, and our buses are maintained to standards we never compromise on.

Brand new busses, with the latest safety equipment and seatbelts, will parade down Virginia and onto Monroe on Monday!

We expect them to arrive between 11:00-11:30 AM. If you are around, line up to wave at our drivers and cheer them on. If you are driving by, give them a friendly honk or two.

Don't be concerned if you see them being escorted in by our friendly police and fire department. North Bend wants to welcome our transportation partners and the high level of service and safety they bring to our students the North Bend way! They will receive a proper escort, as all state champions should.

Hesper the Bulldog was feeling so proud about our new buses he decided to go all the way out to Roseburg to stand guard over the weekend. He will ensure our buses arrive safely on Monday, and then resume his post at Bulldog Legacy Plaza.
